The best spot to find entertainment is…

San Francisco’s Jazz Center, SF Ballet and Opera, plus the Symphony and newly renovated Herbst Theatre are all located in the Civic Center, adjacent the timelessly beautiful Beaux Arts City Hall and Plaza. Nearby but closer to the downtown shopping center of Union Square are the performing arts theatres, A.C.T., Golden Gate, and other smaller houses.

If you’re a sports fan, San Francisco has you covered. The beautiful waterfront AT&T park is home of the 2014 World Series baseball champions, the San Francisco Giants. The San Francisco 49ers are also within driving distance, their home at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara will host Super Bowl 50 in 2016. The Golden State Warriors will be returning to San Francisco in a few years once the construction of their new arena is complete, for now they are located just across the Bay Bridge in Oakland.

The Presidio golf course is the best in San Francisco proper, it’s conveniently located adjacent to Pacific Heights and is within 15 minutes of downtown San Francisco. The Presidio golf course features a beautiful forest like setting and views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

If you love to golf you’ll probably want to get invited to join the San Francisco Olympic Club, the oldest athletic club in the United States. The Olympic Club’s three private golf course are recognized as some of the finest in the United States and are located just south of San Francisco. The Olympic Club hosted the 2012 U.S. Open. Other San Francisco golf courses include Lincoln Park and Harding Park.
